Frances Mansfield was the first contributor to the Photo Album of Ireland project. Her family lived in Cork Street, in the Liberties area of Dublin.
The first images scanned were hand-tinted portraits of her grandparents in a gold locket which Frances wears around her neck. This collection of family photographs includes a wedding photograph made in Cork Street from the turn of the century. Included in this group photograph is her great-grandmother, who was born into a Huguenot family. Also included is a wedding photograph from the 1940s and photographs of family holidays in Rush, County Dublin.
