Studio portrait of Albert McCourt

Studio photograph – probably an example of an “invisible mother” photograph – where the mother is holding the baby from behind cloaked by a fabric covered chair.

Albert left Dundalk left Dundalk and went to live in England with his wife Nuala Moran. They had two children Ashley and Maria, and went on to manage a succession of public houses for Charringtons Brewers, settling in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
