George Duffy and his son, Walker Appleby Duffy (Appleby was his mother’s maiden name), in a horse-drawn cart, on Duffy’s Lane in front of the Duffy farm, c. 1910. James Duffy left the farm to his sons George and Benjamin, who in turn sold his share to George in 1891.
When George died in 1941, he left the farm to his only son Walker, who sold it in 1955.
