Aerial view of McKay family farm

Aerial view of the McKay family farm in Seacon, Ballymoney, County Antrim. The house on upper left was the original farmhouse where John Wallace McKay and his brothers and sisters grew up. J.W. McKay and his brother Dr. James McKay later built the larger house on the right. His mother Eliza Pinkerton lived here with her daughter Isabella. The lane on goes up to the main Ballymoney/Portrush road. A note on the back of the photograph reads: “Aunt Isabella found Grandfather dead in the lane crossing the foreground and dragged him back to the house above.”
