Laurence McKeown photographed with his family from prison on compassionate parole in June 1983 to attend his mother Margaret’s funeral. Laurence was still recovering from the effects of the Hunger Strike. Due to restrictions of photography in prison the family had few photographs taken with Laurence. A local photographer was arranged to take of the family who had gathered at the home for Margaret’s funeral.
