Album pages from Rev AE Scott’s trip

Eric Scott was invited to dinner with Mrs Sisson’s mother in Moose Jaw and later attended the Moose Jaw Stampede. He wrote to his mother it was “quite unlike anything you would see in Europe”. He also attended the
provincial exhibition in Regina: machinery, livestock, industry, an Indian encampment and an exhibit of Indian manufactures. Besides church work he helped with the harvest, mainly stooking sheaves of corn. “Everyone is cutting their wheat and you can hear binders in every direction.” Mosquitoes were fierce and gave him trouble; he enclosed a dead one in a letter home.
